Important Dates:
January 17th 6:45 Harrison Boys Tennis Informational Meeting at the Harrison Attendance Building (lower level multi-purpose room)
January 25th First JV match
February 10th First Varsity match

Items each player provides by end of January for the season:
2 cases of water
2 cases of Gatorade
12 individual packs of chips, crackers, etc.
12 individual protein type bars (granola, power, zone perfect, etc.)
Transportation:
Transportation is NOT provided by the county. We will carpool to away matches. Most of the away matches are local. We will be asking for volunteers to sign up to help drive to away matches.
Practice:
Practices are mandatory as a member of the team. We have 4 tennis courts at Harrison that we share with the girls team. We will not practice every day. Please refer to the calendar for practice days. There may be days we will split into 2 groups and have split practice times (4-5pm and 5-6pm). This will allow us to accomplish more in practice with smaller groups. This will be communicated via the Remind App.
Matches:
Match format according to Georgia High School Association - 3 singles matches + 2 doubles matches. The top 7 players earn their spots to play in the lineup. Often, teams will have extra players and we will play extra matches. Keep in mind that playing time is earned. Every effort is made to get players in as many matches as possible. However, playing time in every match is not a guarantee for every player.
